HAUS DER NATUR / SALZBURG

Das vom Künstlerkollektiv "albapura"- Nicola Hackl-Haslinger und Peter Manhartsberger geschaffene Bild "The Journey", hat in unserer neuen Vega-Sternwarte - Haus der Natur, eine würdige Heimat gefunden. Wie auch im begleitenden Film zu sehen, den unsere Besucher lieben, nimmt es uns in faszinierender Weise auf die Reise von den Anfängen der astronomischen Forschung bis hin zu unserer Sternwarte und noch weiter in eine unbekannte Zukunft mit. In phantastischer Technik und wunderbarer Schönheit bereitet das Kunstwerk tausenden Besuchern große Freude und auch Erstaunen über die Darstellbarkeit des unendlichen Universums. Ich bin mir sicher - das Bild und die Sternwarte haben sich "gefunden" und machen einander noch wertvoller!

„The Journey“ a picture created by the art collective "albapura", Nicola Hackl-Haslinger  and Peter Manhartsberger , has found a worthy place in our new Vega-Observatory, Haus der Natur in Salzburg. The film, much favoured by our visitors, takes us on a fascinating journey from the beginning of astronomical research to the present, to our observatory, and further into a future yet unknown.

The excellent technique of the film guarantees a unique experience, opening up the awesome beauty of the infinite universe to the audience.

I am sure: the picture AND the observatory have found each other, complement each other and make each other even more valuable.“

ART PROJECT "THE JOURNEY"

VISITING THE VEGA OBSERVATORY

Visiting the VEGA observatory, Salzburg, on the occasion of its opening and experiencing in awe the summer night spectacle of the perseids on the very same evening, form the backdrop of a work of art, a work to be regarded as a unique fusion of diverse forms of artistic expression.

„The Journey“ approaches the phenomenon of time via multimedia. A framed work of art, capturing moments in time, and 3D motion graphics, blending moments of sound and image and making them accessible to perception.
